After a 7-6 loss to the New England Patriots on Thursday night — their second game in five nights — the Saints will get some time away from the field this weekend.
After arriving home early Friday morning from Foxborough, Mass., the Saints (1-1) are not scheduled to practice again until Monday at 8:50 a.m. at the team’s training facility in Metairie.
Meetings and a film review of Thursday night’s game will lead them into four days of practices starting Monday as they prepare for their home exhibition opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 17.
The four practices are also the final ones that will be open to the public for the duration of training camp. The workouts are scheduled for 8:50-11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday — weather permitting.
