Jacksonville Jaguars second-year quarterback Blaine Gabbert was so impressive in the team’s 27-24 victory against the Saints on Friday that he got a front page photo and a mention in the Peter King’s Monday Morning Quarterback column released on Monday on si.com.
Gabbert completed 13 of 16 passes for 112 yards in the first half against the Saints. He has completed 18 of 26 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns this preseason.
King named Gabbert his offensive player of the week.
