Saints rise two more spots in NFL rushing stats

After ranking 32nd and last in the NFL in rushing offense just two weeks ago, the Saints are now up to 26th with 94.9 yards per game.

The Saints moved up four spots last week after rushing for 148 yards in their Nov. 11 win over the Atlanta Falcons and improved another two spots this week, according to updated NFL stats.

With 153 rushing yards in Sunday’s 38-17 belting of the Oakland Raiders, the Saints have at least 140 yards in three consecutive games after having just one 100-yard performance in their first seven outings.

Going into Sunday’s game with the San Francisco 49ers, who rank sixth against the run, the Saints are averaging 94.9 yards per game. Interestingly, the Niners allow 94.3 yards per game.
