Saints RB Ivory among inactives for game with Giants

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Saints running back Chris Ivory, a late addition to the injury list on Saturday, is inactive for today’s game with the New York Giants in MetLife Stadium.

Ivory, who has a hamstring problem, was listed as doubtful for the game when Saints’ officials added him to the injury report on Saturday before the team left New Orleans.

Interim coach Joe Vitt on Friday had ruled out tackle Charles Brown (knee) and cornerback Corey White (knee). Brown will miss his third straight game, while White, will miss his third games in four weeks.

The Saints other inactives are LB Scott Shanle, DE Turk McBride, TE Michael Higgins and DT Tyrunn Walker.

Saints defensive end Junior Galette is active and will play for the first time since spraining his left ankle on Nov. 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He missed the last four games.
