Saints’ Jenkins, Colston, Harper out for game with Jets

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Three starters are among the inactives for the Saints for Sunday’s game with the New York Jets in MetLife Stadium.

Topping the list of seven players who are inactive are free safety Malcolm Jenkins, strong safety Roman Harper and wide receiver Marques Colston — who are all out with knee injuries.

Harper returned to practice on a limited basis this week, but will miss his sixth straight game since a Week 2 matchup with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

The other inactives are defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee), RB Khiry Robinson, T Terron Armstead and QB Ryan Griffin.

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham (foot), guard Jahri Evans (hip) and running back Mark Ingram (toe) are all active for the game. Ingram is active for the first time since injuring his toe in Week 2 against the Bucs.

Inactive for the Jets are WR Santonio Holmes (hamstring), TE Jeff Cumberland (concussion), RB Alex Green (hamstring), QB David Garrard, G Will Campbell, T Ben Ijalana and OL Oday Aboushi.
