Saints’ Bush to miss third straight game vs. Panthers

CHARLOTTE,N.C. — Saints safety Rafael Bush, who has missed the last two games with an ankle injury, tops the list of inactives for Sunday’s matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Bush injured his ankle in the Dec. 2 game with the Seattle Seahawks and has not practiced since then although he was listed as doubtful for the game on Friday by coach Sean Payton.

Linebacker Keyunta Dawson is also inactive for the fourth consecutive game because of a calf injury that he sustained on Nov. 21 atAtlantaand tight end Josh Hill will be out for the second game in a row with a hamstring problem.

The Saints’ healthy inactives are WR Nick Toon, DE Tom Johnson, RB Travaris Cadet and QB Ryan Griffin.

Topping the list of Panthers’ inactives is running back Jonathan Stewart, who was ruled of the game on Friday by coach Ron Rivera because of a knee injury.

The other inactive are CB Josh Norman, LB Dan Connor, WR Tavarres King, WR Marvin McNutt, T Travis Bond and DE Wes Horton.
