MOBILE, Ala. — General manager Mickey Loomis and defensive coordinator Rob Ryan were among a large Saints contingent to attend Monday morning’s player weigh-in for the 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl, but both declined to address reporters.

Ryan deadpanned, “Mum’s the word until training camp, guys. Sorry.” Loomis said he would most likely speak after Tuesday’s practices wrapped up, though he left open the possibility that he’d talk following Monday’s sessions.

Saints head coach Sean Payton was not seen at the weigh-in. Among the several others joining Loomis and Ryan were offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr., assistant head coach/linebackers coach Joe Vitt and offensive line coach Bret Ingalls.

Meanwhile, two NFL draft prospects from LSU and one from Tulane participating in the Senior Bowl on the South team were weighed and measured. From LSU, 6-foot-1 linebacker Lamin Barrow weighed in at 229 pounds, and 6-foot safety Craig Loston weighed in at 214 pounds.

Tulane’s Ryan Grant, 6-foot, weighed in at 197 pounds.

Barrow will wear No. 50; Loston will wear No. 6; and Grant will wear No. 3.

The Senior Bowl kicks off 3 p.m. Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The NFL Network will televise the game.
