Drew Brees among those questionable for Titans game

After being limited in practices this week, it would be a surprise if Drew Brees takes the field tonight at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Tennessee Titans.

The New Orleans Saints quarterback suffered a left oblique strain Aug. 1 and has not been a full participant in practice in the days since. Luke McCown started against the St. Louis Rams in the preseason opener, with Ryan Griffin playing most of the second and third quarters.

The team has not made an announcement on who will start tonight. Brees has not been officially ruled out, but it would be a surprise if he plays.

Since injury reports are not released during the preseason, here is a list of other players who could miss tonight’s game:

WR Kenny Stills (quad)
G Jahri Evans (undisclosed)
G Ben Grubbs (undisclosed)
