How likely will it be that “Stump” Mitchell be given the opportunity to complete his three year contract. Of course the bottom line is win and losses and the GSU game, but SU could easily be 3 and 1 instead of 1 and 3.
Click on the chat box and head into the chat. We’ll discuss there!
Folks, I’m told that if you’re using Internet Explorer, the chat box is a little shaky. If you can, try using Mozilla Firefox. If you can’t, we’ll try to get to you!
@Curtis: In my mind it’s too early to know. We’ve got seven games to go here. Almost everyone agrees that the team is better. But at some point, they’ve got to win these games. Remember that he’s dealing with limitations on scholarships and practice time. But if they continue to show improvement, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get that third year.
@Curtis: Of course, if they don’t look any better toward the end of the year, and they get blown out by Grambling … OR if they get blown out at Valley, which is almost unthinkable, well ….
Can’t type in the chat, just wanted to know if you had any idea why Douglas was pulled in the second half? Is he using a two QB system
@Charles: I guess the short answer is yes. Mitchell wants Douglas to get playing time, so in case something happens to Joseph, he has an experienced quarterback. I’m guessing Douglas was pulled in the third quarter because the offense had 2 yards in the third quarter, and the Jaguars needed a boost from somewhere.
Also, folks, I’m told that there’s some sort of issue with the chat box. If you’re using Internet Explorer, sometimes it’s a little shaky. If you have it, try Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. If you can’t, well, keep trying! Or fire away here.
Because number 4 is his godchild.
