So … there’s that two-quarterback thing going on. The running game looks like it’s starting to take shape. Some guy named Heishma Northern is coming to town. And no, the Southern football team didn’t play its best game last week at Mississippi Valley … but it won.
And here’s the real stunner: With a win this week against Prairie View, the Jaguars can take over first place in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Western Division.
Doesn’t this seem like chat-worthy stuff?
As usual, we’ll host a live chat on Southern football at 1 p.m. Wednesday on theadvocate.com, right here on the Jaguar Nation blog.
Stop by with questions, concerns, comments, kudos and complaints. And tell a friend.
NOTE: If you’re trying to join the chat and you’re having trouble, try using Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Hey, life is all about adjustments, right?
Anyway, we all know that Southern fans have strong opinions on Stump Mitchell and the Jaguars. If you’re looking for the right forum in which to share them, this is it.
Please, just remember: keep it clean. After all, it’s just a game.
