LSU’s April 5 game at Florida is one of eight games that has been selected for broadcast on ESPNU’s “Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week,” the conference office announced Monday.
First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. CT from Gainesville, Fla. ESPNU’s “College Baseball Live” will precede each Thursday night game starting at 6 p.m.
The Tigers open the 2012 season Feb. 17 against Air Force, where LSU’s Paul Mainieri was head coach from 1989-94.
