LSU goes for series win

LSU coach Paul Mainieri tweaked his lineup Sunday in the wake of the seventh-ranked Tigers being shut out a day earlier by Appalachian State.

Mason Katz and Raph Rhymes swapped positions in the batting order as Katz moved up to No. 3 and Rhymes dropped to No. 4.

JaCoby Jones returned to the lineup in center field after being given the day off Saturday. Jackson Slaid, who has struck out five times in seven at bats this weekend, was dropped from sixth to seventh in the lineup.

The Tigers are facing a left-hander in Rob Marcello (1-0, 0.00).
