COLUMBIA, S.C. — LSU is taking infield in a light rain at Carolina Stadium about 25 minutes before the scheduled start of Game 1 between the Tigers and South Carolina at 1:30 p.m. CDT Friday.
A light rain has fallen for much of the last few hours and the infield dirt is damp, the field is playable. This is the maekup of the Southeastern Conference series opener that was rained out Thursday night.
