HOOVER, Ala. — LSU and Mississippi State will meet for the second time in three days and this time it will be in an elimination game at the Southeastern Conference baseball tournament.
State dropped the Tigers into the losers bracket by defeating them 3-2 Wednesday, then joined them in the losers bracker after a 5-1 loss to Kentucky on Thursday after LSU had beaten Ole Miss 11-2 in an elimination game earlier in the day.
