LSU’s first NCAA regional game in Alex Box Stadium in three years will be under way in just a little while. The top-seeded Tigers and fourth-seeded Louisiana-Monroe are getting ready to play in unusually mild weather conditions at 7 p.m.
Second-seeded Oregon State defeated third-seeded Belmont 2-1 in a pitching duel in the opening game of the Baton Rouge Regional this afternoon. The loser of tonight’s game will play Belmont in an elimination game at 2 p.m. Saturday. Tonight’s winner will play Oregon State at 7 p.m. Saturday.
