Unbeaten LSU, Oregon State meet

LSU and Oregon State will meet with the driver’s seat in the Baton Rouge Regional at stake, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday in Alex Box Stadium.

The top-seeded Tigers defeated fourth-seeded Louisiana-Monroe 4-1 Friday night and the second-seeded Beavers defeated third-seeded Belmont 2-1 Friday afternoon. The winner of Saturday night’s game will advance to a Sunday night game, having two opportunities to get the third and final victory needed to claim the regional title.

The loser will face ULM in an elimination game Sunday afternoon. The Warhawks stayed alive by eliminating Belmont 6-3 Saturday afternoon..
