LSU will try to win the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional and advance to a super regional when it plays Oregon State at 6:37 p.m. Sunday in Alex Box Stadium. If the Tigers lose, winner-take-all a rematch will be played at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The Beavers advanced to the regional final by beating Louisiana Monroe 11-2 in an elimination game Sunday afternoon. The winner of the Baton Rouge Regional will play the winner of the Coral Gables (Fla.) Regional, either Central Florida or Stony Brook, in a best-of-three super regional next weekend.
If LSU prevails, the super regional will be held at Alex Box Stadium, beginning either Friday or Saturday.
The Tigers beat the Beavers 7-1 Saturday night.
