LSU ranked No. 10 by Baseball America

LSU is ranked No. 10 in Baseball America’s preseason poll, which was released Thursday.

The Tigers, the reigning Southeastern Conference champions, had previously been ranked No. 4 by Collegiate Baseball and No. 5 by Perfect Game, which also named outfielder Raph Rhymes, catcher Ty Ross and second baseman JaCoby Jones second-team All-Americans.

LSU begins preseason practice Friday, which will also be Media Day. The Tigers open the season at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15 against Maryland in Alex Box Stadium.
