Tyler Moore will be the designated hitter for LSU when the third-ranked Tigers play Maryland at 1 p.m. Saturday in Alex Box Stadium.
Coach Paul Mainieri inserted the left-handed hitting Moore into the lineup against Terrapins right-hander Brady Kirkpatrick. Right-handed hitting Alex Edward was the DH against Maryland left-hander Jimmy Reed in LSU’s 1-0 victory in the season opener Friday night.
