LSU’s second game of the season, Feb. 15 at UNO, has been moved to Zephyr Field, UNO announced on Friday.

The game was scheduled to be played at UNO’s newly renovated ballpark, Maestri Field, but renovations will not be complete in time.

LSU, ranked No. 3 in Collegiate Baseball’s preseason poll, begins the season with a game against UNO at Alex Box Stadium on Feb. 14. The Tigers return to Alex Box for a game against Grambling on Feb. 16.

Zephyr Field, a 10,000-seat stadium located in Metarie, is home to the New Orleans Zephyrs, a Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
