HOOVER, Ala. — The LSU-Alabama game in the Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament will start sometime after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday because the first game of the day between Ole Miss and Arkansas has gone into extra innings.
The start time for the Tigers and the Crimson Tide was estimated to be 12:30 p.m. but it will be 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Ole Miss-Arkansas game, which started at 9:30 a.m. and entered extra innings with a 1-1 score shortly after noon.
The LSU team bus arrived at Hoover Met Stadium shortly before noon and head coach Paul Mainieri entered the stadium while the players remained on the bus enjoying the air conditioning as the Rebels and Razorbacks continued to battle.
