On Friday, Jindal’s schedule starts at the Iowa Renewal Project’s “Pastor’s Policy Briefing” in Cedar Rapids, followed by sprint car racing at the Knoxville Raceway with Iowa congressional candidate Mariannette Miller-Meeks, per the Register’s report.

On Saturday, Jindal will make a stop at the Iowa State Fair to volunteer at the GOP’s booth, attend the Conservative Leadership Roundtable and then address the Family Leader’s Leadership Summit that evening before heading out.

Next month, Jindal, considered a possible contender for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination,  is heading to New Hampshire for several similar political events.

Next weekend’s trip to Iowa will be his third in a year, and he was last in New Hampshire in March.

Both Iowa and New Hampshire are major players in presidential primaries due to timing and media coverage.
