I’m a mom, a food journalist, a cook, a photographer and an editor. The Advocate’s been my home for the last six years, before that I graced the copy desk of The News-Star in Monroe, La., and a various desks at a string of North Louisiana radio stations.
I’m a graduate of LSU (MLIS, 2011), Louisiana Tech (MA, 2005; BA, 2001) and the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts (1998). I live in Gonzales with my husband, John, and our daughter Ainsley, who I sometimes call Bear. And Booger, but only when it’s fitting. Drop me a line.
