The LSU football program was trying to return to normal late Monday afternoon following a bomb threat Monday morning that led to a complete evacuation of the campus.
LSU coach Les Miles, whose regular Monday media luncheon was canceled by the evacuation, was scheduled to meet with reporters at 7 p.m. at the LSU football operations center.
How much preparation LSU would be able to get in Monday for Saturday’s game at Auburn was unclear.
Meanwhile, law enforcement officials are conducting a builidng-by-building search of the campus. According to The Associated Press, LSU officials hoped to reopen the campus by Monday night, though not every building may have been checked.
