LSU-Miss. State game at 6 p.m. on ESPN

Make it seven night games in seven home dates this season for LSU football.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. next Saturday between LSU and Mississippi State in Tiger Stadium. The game, which is the centerpiece of LSU’s Homecoming weekend, will be televised on ESPN.

ESPN got the Tigers-Bulldogs clash after CBS picked Texas A&M at Alabama for its 2:30 p.m. slot. CBS had exercised a six-day hold on both games last Monday.

LSU, which dropped to No. 9 in the AP and USA Today coaches’ polls after Saturday’s 21-17 heartbreaker loss to No. 1 Alabama, has played every game at home so far this season.

The school will find out Monday the kickoff time for its Nov. 17 home finale with Ole Miss. The Rebels are 5-4 going into a home game Saturday against Vanderbilt.

LSU’s regular-season finale will be Nov. 23 at Arkansas, a 1:30 p.m. kickoff on CBS.
