It looks like it’s going to be a breezy night in Tiger Stadium for No. 9 LSU’s Homecoming game against No. 22 Mississippi State on Saturday night.
Both teams are 7-2 overall and 3-2 in the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers will try to bounce back from a last-minute 21-17 loss to No. 1 Alabama last week, and the Bulldogs will try to end a two-game losing streak (Alabama and Texas A&M).
LSU has won the last 12 meetings and 19 of the last 20. This is the Tigers’ fifth school-record fifth consecutive game against a ranked team, and it’s the Bulldogs’ third consecutive game against a ranked team.
There aren’t any anticipated lineup changes for LSU.
