LSU tries to send seniors out with a win

LSU has just honored its 15 seniors on the field before the start of their final home game against Ole Miss on Saturday in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is 2:30 pm. on CBS.

Coach Les Miles went one by one the congratulate the players and their families. The seniors left the field as a group and returned to the locker room to loud applause.

The eighth-ranked Tigers (8-2 and 4-2 in the Southeastern Conference) will try to send the seniors out with a victory. The Rebels (5-5, 2-4) need a victory today or next week against Mississippi State to become eligible in coach Hugh Freez’s first season.

It’s a cool, sunny breezy day, perfect fall weather for one of LSU’s biggest rivalry games.
