The South Carolina Gamecocks won’t be sporting their usual garnet and white uniforms when they roll into Tiger Stadium for Saturday’s contest (7 p.m., ESPN).
Instead, the Gamecocks will be sporting new “Battle” uniforms designed by South Carolina’s apparel maker, Under Armour.
The uniforms will be gray with camo-style pants. The jerseys will feature white numerals trimmed in garnet, which do appear to stand out easily against the gray background. South Carolina’s helmets are still the traditional white.
